Random?!
Gee I have really sucked at keeping this blog up to date lately! What actually made me type in it tonight, was Em said the most random thing today! I had waken her up at 10pm to take her to the toilet so she doesn't wet the bed When all of a sudden she started crying. I asked her a few times what was wrong, and she finally told me whilst crying her little eyes that daddy was scaring her! So I asked her how he was scaring her, and she said that he was scaring her cause he had little hair lmao. 'Why can't he grow it!!!' she cried. Oh my god it had to be the funniest thing she has said, and I think it was almost sleeping talking. It was the most random thing to be scared of! So yeah , thought that it would have to go In to the blog. So since last time I wrote in here, the girls are growing older before my eyes. Every day I fall even more in love with their little characters. Grace is such a little grunter, but she is getting better with her words. I love how she takes me by the hand and leads me to places she wants to go. I love how she likes to snuggle with me first thing in the morning. I love that when I saw 'would you like me to sing you a song' she throws herself In to rock a bye bear position in my arms. Sooooo cheeky, but I wouldn't change it for any thing in the world. Although dad did see the violent side of u at the indoor day park the other day, very bad tempered you can be! Smacking other kids when u don't get something your way. It was funny once you decided that you were hungry, and started walking around the park rubbing your belly lol. Today, Emmy told me today to go get her a drink of water and to 'just do it' what a cheeky little thing. Can't believe that the girls will be two and four at the end of the year! Time has just flown by. On that note note note xx

RIP Jack Rabbit
Oh dear, the awfulest thing happened Friday night..... Bella killed Jack rabbit. Some how Bella has managed to get the top of poor Jacks cage off, and I think she played with him until he had a heart attack. Their we're no wounds on him when I found him, it was like he has sleeping :( it was so hard to tell Em that her rabbit had died, and that she won't be seeing him anymore. I think I cried more then Em. After I explained it in side, she asked to go out side. And I said ok, so we went out side and she started looking for Jack and I explained again that jack died and he's gone forever and she started to cry and say she missed him. It was so hard to see her upset :-( So to honor jacks memory, I took Em and Grace down to bunnings and they choose a tree and planted it out the front, so we will always remember him. And then the next day Grace was out the back with me, and she went over to Jacks cage and was calling for jack, and looking at me like 'where is he mum?' it broke my heart, all I could do was explain he's gone :-( poor jack, I'm sorry he went out that way, didn't think Bella would ever get into the cage. He was a good little rabbit, used to jump on the jumping castle with the girls, go down the slide, make me chase him like buggery trying to catch him to put him away at night. He will be missed RIP jack xxoo
Emmy stayed at Granny's and Gramp's this weekend, I swear every time she comes back from there, she's a little bit older! She told me about feeding the chooks, and how johnno isn't her favorite horse is the white one lol. I'm glad she enjoys it so much out their. Gracey and I have been having some 'us' time, took Bella for a walk down the beach, Grace loved playing down there, she's like a different child when em's not around. It's like, when they are together the are always competing for my attention, more so Grace. I love the both so much for different things, Em def takes after me more, and Grace def after Luke.... I wonder if we have a third, whom it will look like :-) still looking for a job, not much luck. But it's only been two weeks, so fingers crossed that some things comes up shortly. Any way, I hear my bed calling so nite nite xx

Wat a huge few weeks!!
It has been A hectic few weeks for our little family! Dad has been working heaps of over time, and The kids and I have been going on so many adventures. Last week I decided it was time that Grace and Emily went on their first ever train ride, and we went for a train trip up to Melbourne to the Melbourne aquarium! The girls loved it, especially the penguins and the jelly fish. It was great seeing them wanting to see.... And running up to all the different displays. They even got to feed the fish their :-) i think it was sensory over load in the end, because the both of them went to bed early and then slept in the next morning lol. Emmy had dancing the next day, so we had to make a mad dash to get their in time, we just made it lol.Started on the phones at the volunteer work I'm doing which is great. It feels good to be giving back to the community, and it's also a real eye opener to some of the things out their in the world, regarding mental health, through to substance abuse. I hope I can take this all on board and hopefully teach the girls some of the things I learn. I'm going to start applying for nite work Tommorro, so I'm hoping that it's all flexible and works well with life line, and keeping the family happy :-)
Haha, Emmy said the funniest thing to me the other day when we hopped out of the car. She goes to me, mum... Whats that noise?? And I said I wasn't sure what noise she's talking about. And she replied.... I know... I think it's your legs flapping in the wind... Because its very windy out here :-) lmao, what a random thing to think of lol, Emmy has a great way of saying things at the moment lol.
It has totally disgusting here for the last few days, we had gastro go through all of us. It started with me, I was pooing and vomiting at the same time, Luke was fantastic and stood their and rubbed by back whilst it was all going on! I have not vomited that violently for a long long time. Luke ended up taking me to the doctors where they gave me a injection to make me stop vomiting. Then that afternoon, the hot water broke!!! And to top things of, Luke got it and was vomiting and pooing at the same time, and then Emily started vomiting g and Gracey started with the pooing!! It was a big old disgusting poo vomit fest with know hot water!! I'm pretty sure I imagine that's wat hell looks like lmao. We all had the sweats from the fevers and couldn't even have a shower, it was the most horrible 24hrs! But I must admit, you girls make me proud, and also make me look like a big wuss lol. I felt and was acting like I was dieing, and Emmys vomits... Says she doesn't like being sick and starts playing like nothing happens! And she was doing those vomits that from the bottom of her stomach, and vomited at least 10 times, and cried maybe 2times, she's such a brave little girl, she makes me so proud! And Grace, every time she did a poop, she thought it was appropriate to try and sit on my face.... Talk about goo, cheeky little devil she is. Took the girls to a indoor park the other day, and they are so grown up now! Em doesn't even need me to go play with her, and grace is now playing on the big kids equipment and loves it. It seems like life is all of a sudden moving really fast. I guess that is what happens when you are happy :-) love my husband and my beautiful girls xxoo

WHERE DO I START?
Where's do I start?
Well it's been a week or so since I last wrote in the family blog, un fortunately we had to change Internet providers, which left us without Internet for 2 weeks!! And what a eventful 2 weeks it has been for us! The girls have finally gotten better and are now flu and tonsillitis free. We have had a few odd moments though. Emily has discovered how to lie! At age 3!! I'm shocked and could not believe it! We are always telling grace to move away from the tv, because she gets REALLY really close and it can't be good for her eyes, so we are forever yelling.... Grace move back from the tv! Anyway... Standing at the kitchen door watching the girls watch tv, and Grace was standing away from the tv for once. Then as I was standing their unnoticed, Emily started pushing Gracey towards the tv 'common grace a little closer' and then pushed a little closer again. After the second time of pushing her forward, she started to yell..... 'mum grace is standing....' and as she turned around to dob her sister in saw me standing their and realized she was busted for pushing grace up to the tv. I can't believe my little emmy did that! Then the next day dad walked in on Emily pinning graces head to the rug. But wat really made me laugh was I walked into the kitchen, after I had said no more food for the nite and Emily looks at me and says... I didn't eat 2 pieces of pop corn mum. Pmsl, I said oh really? And again, she repeats, I didn't eat to pieces of pop corn. Lol, so I said its ok if you did, and u can be honest with mum, and she started giggling and said ok I stole 2 pieces of pop corn and ate them :-) Emily is really starting to become a real little comedian. Still can't believe she's already lying though! Gracey, you are mums little baby girl! But are you ever going to speak? I think you know that mum likes it when you say mum mum. It makes me smile. Our hot water service broke last week, so we had to bat h you in the kitchen sink, which is the picture below. And you just thought its was the best thing ever, you are def a little water baby! That same day u had your 18mth injections, and you didn't even cry, or even flinch, you are such a brave girl! Emily even stood there and watched the doc prepare your arm and put the injection in. You girls are always surprising me! Well on that note, even though I haven't typed anything for 2 weeks, I'm sleep deprived and am of to bed. I love my gorgeous husband and 2 beautiful girls xxx

Chocolate brown lady?!
Oh my god, kids really do say the damnedest thing lmao. Miss Emmy came home the other day from daycare, telling me that their was a chocolate lady their today.... I thought that's weird why would their be a lady giving out chocolates?? When I asked Em wat she ment, she said the chocolate skin lady..... She ment a person with African skin lmao. That had to be the most innocent way, to describe the lady's skin color. It made me giggle so much! Oh wat a week, the girls have been sick for 2 weeks. Poor Gracey more so then Emmy. Grace has a real chesty cough and lots a boogers at the moment. It's a bit goo, but Plenty of cuddles make it so much better :) Grace is doing this beautiful thing at the moment, were she wants me to go somewhere with her, that she try's to lift me up, my pulling my arm and grunting, errrrrrr, ERRRRRRRR! Lol and then once she does get me up, she drags me around by my finger. Such a demanding little girl, but I wouldn't have it any other way. My mums test results cam back negative for breast cancer so that's a win, and she had that pylop tumor thing removed the other day, and she all recovered from that. Emmy decorated a cake for ajs birthday and we went around their and sung happy birthday too him. It was great seeing such a happy look on his face and Emmy sang sooooooo loudly, you made me proud :) Bell is still driving me crazy! Having a pup is seriously like having a third child...... But an extremely naughty one lmao. She constantly steals socks, and the girls toys and nips at my feets trying to get my attention! Im sure she will get better with the naughtiness but my god the neighbors must be sick of hearing me yell BELLA! It been a busy week of running the girls to dancing, daycare, playgroups and music class, getting quotes for the front fence and solar electricity. So many thing Luke and wanna do to the house, but so little time, with Luke working so hard for our little family. On that note, I'm off to bed..... Which Em hasn't wet the bed for nearly 1 week now :-) much love to my two beautiful girls and my soul mate. My world is complete with you guys xxoo

BELLA!!!!!
Our new puppy Bella is driving me insane! She chews everything, she side ways body slams poor Gracey knocking her over! She howls and howls! And she keeps trying to chew all the girls toys! Arg, it feels like every second thing I say is Bella no! The only up side of having this puppy is, It makes the girls happy! I think emily tells me at least 100 times a day that 'i love my new puppy mum' and the way that Gracey goes over to Bella and randomly gives her a hug. So so cute. Although the other day, Bella was sitting, and Gracey went up to her and said uh uh..... SLAP..... She slapped the dog across the face lmao. Poor Bella didn't know what happened! I think I'm going to have issues with little miss Gracey, such a independent little girl! Grace and Emily have both had coughs this week, so hopefully they get over it very quickly, I hate seeing them be sick, and especially coughing, hearing them cough really gets to me. Make my heart sad lol. Luke's been grumpy the last 2 days, but never mind. I went to my course last night, and took a call from a person committing suicide, that was very hard, but I think that my strengths are growing very quickly through out the course. I'm looking forward to getting on the phones, and taking real calls opposed to the role plays. It will be good to reach out to people and do my part for the community after years of selfishness. Don't really have much on tommorrow, think I will have you girls out side helping me garden and getting some sun. It worrys me how pale you can get Emily. Yet on the other hand Grace.... Gee you tan like your father, you two girls are like chalk and cheese sometimes..... You both have the same cheeky attitude, and you both can be sooooo girly..... But in one hates getting dirty.... The other one loves being dirty lol. One listens to me the other one doesn't lol...... I'll let you figure out which ones which.... As soon as I buy a new laptop will post some pics :) Mum goes into surgery tommorrow, to have a pollop removed so fingers crossed it all go's well. My god Luke just did the stickiest fart ever! I actually moved to the other side of the bed and waved the sheets to try and get it away fom me goooooo! friggin nasty. Speaking of nasty, Luke just reminded me of the bag of dog poo I left on the dryer a few days ago that got covered by clothes..... Couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from for days and whilst I was at my course Luke came across it under the clothes and started dry retching hahaha. Oh well..they say shit happens lol. On the note I'm off to bed. Love you lots and lots xxoo

Happy Mothers Day!
What a wonderful mothers day i had!!!! Wonderful cuddles, from my 2 beautiful girls, and a extra special breakfast with flowers in bed :-) I even got my favorite breakfast, pancakes, with banana and chocolate fudge ice cream. Em made me a beautiful card at kinder, but their was a awkward moment when I asked her if she made the other present...which was a cup with a face washer in it.... And she replied no the kinder lady made it hahaha. I love Emmys honesty!!! We went out to granny's and gramps farm for mothers day lunch and both ou girls love it so much, Gracey just helps her self to the bread and goes off to feed the turkeys and the chooks lol. I swear Gracey has no fear, those turkeys are bigger and scarier then her and she still goes up really close! Em ended up staying their the night, but when she came home the next day she was a little bit sick. We had a bath together and she said to me 'mum, what are we gonna do with me? My happiness is all sad!?' it made my heart smile and frown at the same time, my poor little angel! Graceys like a different child when Emmy isn't around, we sat down for a little bit and played with her toy piggy bank, and you are so clever with how u put the coins in, and how many time you press the pigs nose to get it to sing... And you dance to it! Your so cute, your smile lites up the room! It's funny how little things can effect your kids so much.... Em came back from granny and gramps, thinking she's a horse... Galloping through the house, and doing these small little sad neighs and asking for apples lol. And Gracey, oh Gracey, you crack me up, your crawling around all fours again, panting like a dog lmao. You girls have such great imaginations! Daddy didn't have a great day at work today, he bogged the truck twice, and then the police pulled him over and gave him a fine for running a red light, but when he got one, you girls gave him the biggest hugs and it made it all better again. Dad took Bella and grace out for a little walk, Gracey looks so cute walking down the street holding daddy's hand!! I've started looking for a job again, so hopefully I manage to keep spending heaps of time with you girls and look after the house with out wearing my self out :) but fingers crossed. Gee grace! When are you going to start talking, you point and grunt at the thing you want. You click your tounge and shake ur hand when you want a drink! You do say mum and dad and duck..... Haha thinking of duck on. Others day you walked around for about 10mins wearing a duck hat saying duck, like a quack lol, it made me giggle so much! Hmmmm can't wait for more little conversations! Love you all xxooxxoo

Another day at the Rogers xx
Oh what a mission it is looking after 2 kids and a puppy! You two girl absolutely love the Bella! In fact Emily advised me today that I'm no longer her best friend and that Bella is lol. Gracey loves Bella that much that she has actually started crawling around on all fours, panting like a dog lol. Emmy hasn't stopped telling me that she loves the new dog and thank you so much for buying it..... I can't even begin to type how blessed I am to have 2 beautiful daughters that appreciate the things we get them :) we have been going for little family walks with Bella in the arvos, and it's always a argument over who gets to hold Bella's lead. And when we get down to the grass are at the school, it just so much fun chasing Emmy, and then catching Grace, watching grace try to walk Bella and being pulled over, it's like one big comedy routine! We went for a walk to Nancy's today, and I yelled at Em for not listening to me. I feel bad for yelling, but I'm worried that she's going to get it by a car or if she runs of to far she won't hear me, or someone could try to snatch her. I know I'm thinking of the worst possible outcomes.... But these things do happen, and Im just tring to protect you for as long as possible! When we go to Nannys and poppys, Emmy gave went up to pop and gave him a hug and asked for a lolly pleaaaaaseee lol. It's funny, when I take the girls and Bella to nanny and poppys, I can actually see the happiness shining from their eyes. Poppy may get grumpy sometimes, but I think that he's just pretending most of the time, he and nanny love you girls soooooo much.
On another note, had some good news today, Nan's test results came back and she doesn't have cancer, but she still has to have the breast and anal tumors removed.... But still a better result then cancer! Have started to look for work as of today, I don't like your dad working so hard, so I'm gonna try to find a nite job, that allows me to spend as much time with you girls as possible, we take the pressure of you daddy :)
Did my course again tonight. And I can't even begin to tell you how lucky I am to have found a man like your dad, and to have beautiful little girls like you. Love yo forever and ever xx

proud as punch :)
Gee, some of the things u two beautiful girls always seems to surprise me :) Emily was so beautiful at dancing on Saturday. It was the most serious I've have ever seen her dance. The way she followed aunty Bec, and kept doing her turns, beautiful. It nearly bought a tear to my eyes. And Gracey, you are so strong minded and such a character, I put the music on in the kitchen for us all to have a dance too. And the way u move ur hips and shake ur little napping bum, I can't seem to stop watching u, it makes my heart smile. I hope the innocence never grows out of either of you special girls xx So some thing exciting happened for us Sunday :) we picked up our beautiful little female puppy 'Bella'. And the girls are absolutely in love with her. Em constantly calls poor Bella and carrys her toys around. And Gracey, she's always trying to give Bella new toys lol. So as you can imagine its it of a handful trying to watch all three of the cheeky little monkeys. Luke has now stated that now we have a dog, our family now feels whole :) I think he's smitten wit bella, she already has us all wrapped around her little paw lol. Ems been telling me or rather asking me if I will be her best friend, I wish the you truly understood that I will all ways be urs and Gracey's bes friend. I will do what ever I can do for you girls. Much love and kisses mum mum and dad dad xxoo

Oh Miss Gracey
Oh Miss Gracey! You have been one destructive little girl this week! So far you have stolen my seeing glasses and broke the arm of them. And then you decided it was a good idea to smash the screen on my laptop! I didn't get angry or yell at u for either of those thing, because I'm sure you don't realize eat you have done is naughty! But it's hard not to get angry lol. I rang dad to tell him that you smashed the laptop, and he said, as long as it wasn't the iPad lmao. Apart from GraceyOh trail of destruction, after our lazy weekend, we have been busy with our little activitys. Em had 3yr old kinds Tuesday, she was so excited because she was given chocolate, due to it being someone's birthday their lol. And then Em had daycare Wednesday. And whilst Em was doing that, Gracey and I went to hey dee hoo music class. Gracey loves to dance, but she doesn't really like doing the hand actions, but she LOVES the maracas :-) apart from that it hasn't been a very eventful week. Emmy hasn't wet the bed for a few days, which I'm very proud of :) Gracey's started saying the word 'duck', so hopefully that means she will be saying a lot more soon. I can't wait to have beautiful little conversation with Gracey the way I do with Emmy. On that toe I better get of this and finish getting the girls ready for playgroup. Love you girls for ever and ever xxoo. Even if you do break mummy's stuff lmao

Wat a relaxing day!
What a wonderful relaxing day for the family! We had a wonderful sleep in, Emmy didn't wet the bed the third night in a row :-) As a family we stayed in bed half the morning, then got up had some breaky, and then went to bed again lol. The best thing I love about waking up in the morning, is the full body hugs that Gracey gives me when I get her out of her cot and bring her back to bed, the ways she gives me little grunts and moans when I ask if she had a good sleep, it's like having a many conversation with a 17mth old. I love the way Emmy comes into our room with such enthusiasm and announces 'good morning mummy mum, I'm awake now:)" it's makes my heart smile! After our lazy morning in bed we had a spot of lunch and dad took Emmy to visit tich's grave. Tich was dads step dad for a few years before your granny met gramps:) so after u payed ur respects dad said that he took Em to time zone and u played heaps of games. When u came home u were so excited to show me the lipgloss that dad had won u. Whilst Em and dad did that, Gracey and I chilled at home, I folded washing and she unfolded it as quick as I could fold it again, the cheeky girl lol. Cindy came over for a visit and brought the girls some little gifts that she bought back from Japan. Gracey didn't know what to do when Cindy was here, she went a little shy and just wanted to sit on my lap and cuddle for the first 15 mins, and then Gracey started to be cheeky with Cindy and tring to put the Minnie mouse ears on her. When dad and Emmy got home and Cindy gave Em her little gifts, and was amazed by Emmys manners. Lots of thank yous for Cindy, lol Em even asked Cindy if she could have a sleep over :-) was the ultimate cuteness! After Cindy left we quickly had dinner and went and visited nanny and pop, to make sure that nan was ok. The other day whilst we were at the doctors, nan was waiting for her breat cancer results, and they still didn't have them and nan got very upset. Emmy also asked nanny if she wanted to sleep over and she would look after her lol. Emmy is turning into such a compassionate little girl ;) haven't really made plans for tomorrow, we shall see where the day takes us! Remember Emmy and Gracey, mummy and daddy love you to the unicorn and back hehe (that's wats Emmy says to us at the moment) xxoo

My course today
Today i left you kiddies with ur dad, whilst i went and did my course in telephone counselling.
Today's topic was domestic violence.
This was the hardest topic Ive dealt with so far. The thing that really effected me with this section of the course is, they showed a case of Domestic Violence between a 16yr old teenage Girl and a 18yr old Man in Benella Australia.
It was described that when they started dating they became inseparable. He was older and didn't go to school like her, so he always met her before school, after school, before work and after work. They became 'meshed' together to the point they where almost seen as one.
The domestic violence was reported as starting off slowly, with one day the young man yelling at her in front of school, this quickly over time escalated to frequent verbal abuse and isolation to the point she never saw her friends unless he was their.
All her friends noticed the difference in her and noticed the abuse, but didn't know what they could do, could they help, was it abuse?
One day they where at her house and the neighbours heard screaming and went over to investigate. Approaching the front door the young teenager came running out screaming "he's hitting me help, help he's hitting me!" The Male neighbour went to go inside when the boyfriend came out and with out speaking a word, punched the neighbour in the mouth fracturing his jaw. No charges where laid, and their where no repercussions for the boyfriend.
Upon that event happening, it was told that the young teenager broke up with the boyfriend, but he kept following her and trying to persuade her to come back.
One night he persuaded her to go to the local park to talk. The talk turned into argument when she refused to take him back.
He responded with violence.
In a interview later given to the police by him, he firstly punched her in the face and knocked her to the ground. He then repeatedly bashed the back of her head on to a metal seat until her skull turned to jelly. After she passed out, he then repeatedly stamped on her face fracturing it. Even the nurses and doctors were astonished with the extent of her injuries.
He then left her for dead in the park.
A passerby alerted the police and she was flown to Melbourne hospital. She was barely alive. She remained in a coma for 3 weeks. When her eyes opened, she remained in a vegetable state(non responsive) for a further 3 weeks, to which the doctors could only put down to the experience was so traumatic she was still in shock.
When she did become responsive it was discovered she was permanently brain damaged.
She had to learn how to eat, walk and communicate (not talk, she could no longer talk).
She was 16 and he was 18.
This was meant to be love.
The parents noticed the warning signs and didn't know what to do. Hers friends noticed and didn't know what to do. If that neighbour had of reported and had the boyfriend charged, would the outcome of been different?
This scares the absolute crap out of me. I never ever want to think that my girls would ever be in this position. So i think that's why I am including this in the family blog.
I'm typing this for you to one day read.
It is your RIGHT to feel safe!
No one should ever yell at you to intimidate you, even a man that says he loves you.
That is not love, that Domestic Abuse.
A man should never control you and isolate you from your friends.
A man should never HIT you or force himself on you regardless if your in a relationship.
And more importantly, i hope that you girls read this and recognize the signs of domestic violence, and please do something about it!
You should NEVER have to make EXCUSES or take blame for why he yelled at you, or slapped you.
Most of all, i hope that you can come to me or your dad in any circumstance and we will never judge you, but we will support you and give you the tools to help yourself, or help you directly if that's what you want.
We will love you forever and ever girls xx

Little Miss Attitude!
Today we had a lazy Sunday, it was fantastic, first we had huge family snuggles in bed. But then Gracey kept getting food and kept trying to bring it in to bed with us lol. First she raided dads lunch box and then she some how got the tim tams down from the bench (maybe a little help from Em?) It was good having dad home, and spending time with him <3
After that we got home and you girls helped dad in the garden and Em told dad "thank you for working hard dad :)" that made daddy's day and very happy :) I went and did the grocery shop whilst dad got you showered and in your pjs, and when i got home with the groceries, Gracey was so happy to help unpack everything:) She is such a helpful little 1yr old when she wants to be xx After dinner both you girls hopped in Ems bed and Gracey... yes Gracey, read you guys a book before bed. Wat a lovely day :)
After our family snuggles ( which included Ems fav unicorn) we didn't really do much. We went to the village and had lunch. And you girls played in the park. I asked Emily if she wanted to go play before we go, and she replied 'don't be silly, I'm just going to sit here and eat my ships!" Talk about attitude from a 3yr old But that wasn't the worst thing she said... we went and visited Nan and Pop after the shop and Em turned to Nanny and said with such a sad voice "Nan, i PISSED the bed last night!" It was so hard to keep a straight face lol. I had to tell her with out giggling that we shouldn't say that word as its not a very nice word for little girls to say:) Whilst we where at Nans and Pops, both you girls thought it would be fun to climb up on poor old poppy and have him read u a book, which he was quite happy to do:)

I didnt wet my bed!!!
The third night of wearing no nappies for miss Em and she did us proud, she didn't wet the bed :) I couldn't be prouder of my little angel! You were so proud of yourself this morning when you came running into our bedroom singing "i didn't wet the bed" and turning in circles and jumping up and down! I think i was as excited as you! I thought it would of taken longer!
So today Grace you went and stayed at Nanny's and Poppy's house for a few hours and when i got their you didn't even wanna give me a kiss hello :( it made me sad that you didn't miss me as much as i missed you! your such a cheeky little monkey every time i asked you for a kiss or hug you quickly ran away before i had time to scoop you up! Nanny and poppy sad you had a fantastic time gardening and talking to Roxy dog, and that you were the perfect angel :) Whilst Grace was spending time at Nanny and Poppy's i took Em to auntie Bec's dance class, and today you went dressed as a princess because afterwards we had ur friends Jess's 5th birthday. Today at Jess's birthday was the first time you ever rode a horse! even though it was a small horse you were still brave and hopped up and had a ride! and after woulds you gave it such big cuddles! We stayed at Jess's for a couple of hours but you were a bit grumpy from not sleeping properly the night b4, so you just wanted to play inside or play my little pony's on the Ferris wheel with me :) When we went and picked Gracey up, the first thing you did was take the toy that Grace was playing with and made her cry :( so because you were both in grumpys we said our goodbyes and went home for the day and had pizza for dinner. You didn't get to see much of daddy today cause he worked very late, and buy the time he got home, he only had time to read you one book before bed. Today Emmy told me that i was her best friend, and that she loved me to the moon and back :) And tonight Gracey has woken up and she's a little bit sick, so we had some special cuddles, whilst i sang her maroon 5's song she will be loved :), and now daddy is reading her a book on the couch. Everyday, you two never cease to surprise me, with ur little antics and your sisterly love, All Gracey wants to do is follow her big sister around and be like her :) Its a beautiful thing, But Emmy doesn't quite realise yet that Gracey just wants to be like her, and isn't purposely trying to annoy her.... that's Em's fav thing to say at the moment.... mum Gracey's annoying me!! xx

a mothers worrys
Even though you girls are only 1 and 3 years old. Already i have so many fears or wat could happpen as u grow up. I never want to see ur beautiful faces bruised from a fight at school or a nightclub. I want you to be the best you can be and will support both you with wat ever paths you choose in life. I promise i will be their to wipe your tears, for when the first boy breaks your heart, because trust me it will happen, and it will probably happen quite a few times. I hope you are surrounded by beautiful friends and aren't bullied at school, and i hope you look at all children as equals and don't become a bully either. I know i cant be their all the time to protect you.. but im going to try my best! Words can never describe how much i love you girls, my heart hurts at the though of you growing up and not needing me anymore. I just hope that even though i know we will have our own ups and downs together, and some days you will say you hate me, i hope you will always know i will be here xx
how about the neighbours??
Today i was sooooo tired when you kids woke me up! I actually told Emmy to go get the tim tams of the bench and have them for breakfast lol. You guys were sooo happy that you didnt have to have wheatbix and strawberry's. Gracey had chocolate smooshed all over her face, and Emmy kept offering her more, such a sweet sister. It makes my heart smile when Emmy calls Grace her little darlin' :) After i finally motivated myself to get up, i actually made you guys ur traditional breakfast but you didn't want a bar of it after the tim tams lol. what was i thinking! I ended up cleaning up little chocolate hand prints from all the doors lol. After that ur nanny came over for a cuppa, and we made plans to go see Aunty barbs and snowy after lunch. It was so funny, when nanny got her, both of the girls had just hopped out of the shower and Emmy you walked in with your head held high and a towel wrapped around you and declared that you were the nudey princess. and then Gracey you where a little naughty and tried to scratch me when i tried to take the toothpaste off you(for someone that had only 9 teeth, you love brushing them :))so i popped you in bed. When Gracey woke up, we popped over to the neighbours house to check out their new caravan, and Emmy did not want to leave i had to bribe her to come home cause nanny was their, and promise that you could go visit when we got home. So then we went in the car to see Aunts barbs and snowy and you girls were so good when you where their... well except maybe you Gracey :) you think its a bit of a game getting mum to chase you lol. Auntie Barbs and snowy thought you were the most beautiful perfect little girls. As we left their house, i thought... hell yes.... Miss Emmy has forgotten about going back over to the neighbours. But shoe enough you pipe up from the back seat, are we going to the neighbours now? i think they miss me!!! HAHAHA Emmys memory always surprises me! Whilst Emmy was over their, Aunty Bec (lukes sister) came over, and Gracey you were all over auntie Bec's dog, and then you were out in the back yard chasing Jack rabbit, and you were actually calling his name... jaccckkkk. ts the cutest thing ever! It made me smile so much! and then poor auntie Bec had to keep pushing you on the bike cause you would start crying if she stopped. After Auntie Bec left, and Emmy came home from the neighbours, daddy came home from work, and Emmy received her first letter in the mail :) she was soooo excited, it was a invite for Jess's birthday.... she went screaming into the kitchen DAD DAD DAD DAAAAADDDD!!!! I HAVE A DJSKJHFKHFKSHJKSWDE..... She got soooo excited she started to speak gibberish lol. After that i showered you guys, read you a book and then dad read u a book, and then off to bed you went. Today we didn't put a nappy on Em, cause we are trying to get her out of the habit of wearing them to bed. So fingers crossed she doesn't wet the bed!! Alot has happened with mum this week. The mammogram she had came back with 2 blackmasses in her boobs, and the camera up the bum test found a 5cm polyip that has to be removed. So fingers crossed it not cancer in either of those things! love to my family xxoo

The first blog of the rest of our lives - the Family :)
