Wat a huge few weeks!!
It has been A hectic few weeks for our little family! Dad has been working heaps of over time, and The kids and I have been going on so many adventures. Last week I decided it was time that Grace and Emily went on their first ever train ride, and we went for a train trip up to Melbourne to the Melbourne aquarium! The girls loved it, especially the penguins and the jelly fish. It was great seeing them wanting to see.... And running up to all the different displays. They even got to feed the fish their :-) i think it was sensory over load in the end, because the both of them went to bed early and then slept in the next morning lol. Emmy had dancing the next day, so we had to make a mad dash to get their in time, we just made it lol.Started on the phones at the volunteer work I'm doing which is great. It feels good to be giving back to the community, and it's also a real eye opener to some of the things out their in the world, regarding mental health, through to substance abuse. I hope I can take this all on board and hopefully teach the girls some of the things I learn. I'm going to start applying for nite work Tommorro, so I'm hoping that it's all flexible and works well with life line, and keeping the family happy :-)
Haha, Emmy said the funniest thing to me the other day when we hopped out of the car. She goes to me, mum... Whats that noise?? And I said I wasn't sure what noise she's talking about. And she replied.... I know... I think it's your legs flapping in the wind... Because its very windy out here :-) lmao, what a random thing to think of lol, Emmy has a great way of saying things at the moment lol.
It has totally disgusting here for the last few days, we had gastro go through all of us. It started with me, I was pooing and vomiting at the same time, Luke was fantastic and stood their and rubbed by back whilst it was all going on! I have not vomited that violently for a long long time. Luke ended up taking me to the doctors where they gave me a injection to make me stop vomiting. Then that afternoon, the hot water broke!!! And to top things of, Luke got it and was vomiting and pooing at the same time, and then Emily started vomiting g and Gracey started with the pooing!! It was a big old disgusting poo vomit fest with know hot water!! I'm pretty sure I imagine that's wat hell looks like lmao. We all had the sweats from the fevers and couldn't even have a shower, it was the most horrible 24hrs! But I must admit, you girls make me proud, and also make me look like a big wuss lol. I felt and was acting like I was dieing, and Emmys vomits... Says she doesn't like being sick and starts playing like nothing happens! And she was doing those vomits that from the bottom of her stomach, and vomited at least 10 times, and cried maybe 2times, she's such a brave little girl, she makes me so proud! And Grace, every time she did a poop, she thought it was appropriate to try and sit on my face.... Talk about goo, cheeky little devil she is. Took the girls to a indoor park the other day, and they are so grown up now! Em doesn't even need me to go play with her, and grace is now playing on the big kids equipment and loves it. It seems like life is all of a sudden moving really fast. I guess that is what happens when you are happy :-) love my husband and my beautiful girls xxoo
